Early Spring

We have have been loving the weather. Our day consist of preschool, playing outside, lunch...more playing outside, then naps, dinner and you guessed it...more playing outside.
Ashlyn is getting so big, but thank goodness I can still see baby in her. She still has those same gorgeous dimples, crinkled nose when she laughs and a beautiful face...what can I say we are in love! The one thing I love about spring and summer is ice cream! Below is a pic of Ashlyn after eating her first ice cream in a cone.

Our little bunny

Ashlyn has enjoyed wearing here bunny ears this year...she normally is wearing them backwards.
She could be the cutest bunny ever!
Easter here we come!

Spring is here!

Toby brought these beautiful flowers home to us...it was a nice reminder that Spring is finally here!
I saw these in a Parents magazine as an Easter cooking kraft. They are supposed to be rice krispy eggs dipped in chocolate...if you saw the real picture you would die laughing.
These above are supposed to look like Robin's nest with little eggs...they did not turn out either. What can I say, I am no good at any kind of project or kraft... my poor girls they won't learn much from me in that department . Hope everyone is as excited about Easter as we are...we will post more after the big day!

"Spot" the Owl

It was Sophia's turn to bring the Preschool mascot "Spot" home for the weekend...they could not have picked a worse weekend. Truckshow was is full swing and we had farmed off our kids to Mimi for the night. Sophia came home so excited to tell us about Spot... in the back of my mind I thought you have to be kidding me. Her project was due literally the next day, so there I was at the mall getting pics and cardstock to make-up stuff we did in the half day he spent with us.

Miss Sassy

Sophia is sooo sassy. Just thinking about the future gives me a headache. She does this thing when she does not get her way...she folds her arms and says "whatever!" As you can see Ashlyn is willing following in her footsteps. Sophia was throwing her fit and I told her to look at Ashlyn and she started cracking up laughing! The pics depict how one minute she is completely unbearable and the next happy...can anyone say bipolar!

snow.snow, snow and germs,germs,germs

What a nightmare all this snow has become. Sophia was home for an entire week with Ashlyn and I. She colored, painted, played games, played with toys and watched T.V... it was all I could do not to pull my hair out...whew, she's a workout. Ashlyn did not like Sophia being home so much since she is so used to being my little buddy during the day. Oh, did I mention we have all passed every illness known to mankind to one another. I am talking sneezing, coughing, vomiting, pinkeye, laryngitis and a asthma exacerbation. So, after three weeks of illnesses and several cans of Lysol everyone's back to good health. Where is Spring?

Happy Valentines day

Hope everyone had a great Valentines day! Toby and I managed to find a sitter and escape for dinner one night with friends. You forget how nice it is to have a great dinner with adult conversation and without having to referee or remind little monkeys of their manners. These are the girls Valentines bags...they were so excited to see all their goodies hidden in their mailboxes.
