Zoofest

I love this picture of the girls with Snow white...so sweet!
She could be the cutest lady bug ever.

This is how we keep our kids quiet.

Zoofest

Sophia loves the characters at the zoo and wants her pic taken with all of them.
I was so scared to let Ashlyn walk around the Zoofest. She is so tiny and people towered over her...thank goodness we brought the wagon. We fed her to candy she received trick or treating to keep her quiet and she did great!
The Zoofest gang.
Daddy and the cutest ladybug you have ever seen.

Annual Huber's trip

Mimi and the family went to Huber's together and had a great day.
All of us together. Neither of the girls is looking... that drives me crazy. Will we ever get a picture where everyone is looking...probable in 10 years!
I love this picture of Sophia skipping through the patch.
She is so proud of herself for picking up her pumpkin.

Ashlyn is pointing to all the pumpkins on the wagon.
Sophia pretending to drive the tractor.

We bought about four handfuls of feed then we realized Sophia literally feed the whole handful to one animal. Therefore, I refused to buy anymore feed and started picking up kernels off the ground. Ashlyn observed me for a while and then started picking up one kernel off the ground at a time and feeding it to the goats...she is just precious.

Hubers cont...

Daddy and the girls going down the Mountain slide together.
Sophia is running out of there because Daddy is coming down and she has had her fair share of injuries from being to slow at the end of a slide!
Poor Toby he had to do all the hard stuff with the girls. He pushed the petal and steered Ashlyn's tractor just so she could join in the fun.
Sophia has a Barbie Jeep that goes 5 mile an hour...so this tractor was nothing compared to it.
Sophia on the pony ride.

Newport Aquarium cont...

Here is Ashlyn pressing all the buttons that make the frog croak...this is after she cried and refused to touch anything until we showed her all that it is kind of fun.
Walking with Mimi.
There was this frog jump game that was kind of like that dance game with the glowing floor (I do not know what is called) Ashlyn though it was great and wanted so badly to play with Sophia.
Sophia had never been shy about anything and Ashlyn is completely opposite. Everything scares her and takes her a while to get used to new a environment...especially one with a jungle sounds and giant weird frogs.
She ran to Mimi when she saw the big frogs making all the crazy sounds.

Fall break at the Newport Aquarium

Mimi and I took this girls to the Aquarium during Sophia's fall break from Preschool. I told her to stick her head in and we would tell daddy and crocodile bit her head! She thought that it was a great idea.

Happy Fall

Fall is finally here and it is by far my favorite season. We do so much this month we hardly have time to come up for air. So be prepared for a lot of posts! Hope everyone enjoys this great cool weather.

Random pics!

The girls are getting so big. Ashlyn is walking and Sophia speaks to us like a teenager...the dirty looks and eye rolling have already started. They are just so precious and even when they are fighting in the car I can't help but smile. P.S. I realize they wear matching outfits and I know they are not twins, but I love it and will do it as long as they let me!

Labor Day

We spent labor day at Church where they had their Familypalooza...pony rides, face painting, jumpers and ice cream! This is the first time I have ever let the girls just dig in and eat...I usually spoon feed them...ridiculous I know, but I hate sticky hands.
The fire dept. was there and let all the kids try on the gear and sit in the cab of the fire truck.

Here is the girls on the train ride together...so cute!

Tiny Dancer

Sophia is in dance and I must say she is a pretty cute little dancer! She loves it...much to my surprise. We let her try anything she ask and this is a year long commitment so I had my doubts about her lasting the whole time. I thought it would be the same as soccer...she would play for a week or two and then decide she did not want to do it any more. But here we are 6 weeks in and no complaints yet!

Sophia's first day of Pre-school

I am getting so far behind on my blog! Sophia has started preschool again...can't believe next year she will be in Kindergarten! She is getting so big... goodness, four years goes by quick. We are back in the Owl class, which is wonderful because she has friends she knows from last year and the teachers are the same. Next year will be interesting for us...I am so used to spending all my time with her it will be weird to send her off for the day. We have been so busy with fall coming up, but I will keep on posting.

The Girls

I love close ups of the girls faces. Ashlyn has those big chubby cheeks and she is so squisy...I think this pic captures that!

Here is Sophia's closeup...what can I say except that she is four going on fourteen!
